I CAN'T HELP IT I'M STRESSED!
5 easy ways to better manage your stress

Do you ever get the feeling that time is speeding up and things are out of control?
You may want to watch this Trailer "The Connection"

I was fortunate enough to watch the whole movie during my recent meditation retreat at http://www.brahmakumaris.org.au/ and realised, things need to change, and they needed to change RIGHT NOW!

But I don't have time I hear you say...

Here are 5 steps that you can do right now and it will only take you 60 seconds:

1. BREATH - Its an essential human function that keeps you ALIVE. Take 5 deep breaths through out your day. There are many apps such as 'Mindfulness Bell' which you can set up to ring when you want it to throughout the day and acts as a trigger to remind you to STOP, BREATH, RELAX.

2. GET MOVING - Physical activity is as essential as the air you breath. But you don't have to spend hours at the gym. Any form of activity will boost your mood and get the 'happy' hormones circulating in your body. Walking while talking on the phone, dancing around to your favourite song, taking the stairs  - no matter what activity just 'GET MOVING'.

3. MAKE TIME FOR FUN AND RELAXATION - Aromatherapy using essentially oils in a hot bath is a wonderful means to relaxation. If you don't have a bath invest in an Electric Oil Burner aromatherapy. We recommend Modere Electric Oil Burner and Modere De-Stress Aromatherapy a natural blend to assist in relieving feelings of tension and anxiety. It will be delivered to your door and takes 60 seconds to get it started.
4. LEARN TO SAY NO - Know your limits and stick to them. Sometimes we can get overwhelmed with the amount of work or tasks we have to complete and yet continue to say yes. If your finding you are staying back finishing work that others could be doing then redirect your work and ask for help. Your colleagues will surprise you and appreciate your honesty.

5. TAKE CONTROL - Do you listen to the news? Does it make you anxious? Answer: Turn off the TV and or radio. Your environment maybe exposing you to additional stresses. So whats causing you additional stresses? It shouldnt be to hard to figure it out. Write a list and see what activity or task can be eliminated or limited from your life. Other factors?
How's your diet? Are you eating the right foods? Might be time to take control of what goes in your body. There's nothing like eating FRESH!

Life is not meant to be complicated. Get simplifying!

Although these steps are basic, it is a start. By starting small you can make a huge difference in your life with reducing your stress levels. There are 86400 seconds in a day, use 60 of those to make the changes necessary to start a stress free life.
